Open Source Mano (OSM) is an ETSI-hosted open source management and orchestration (MANO) community project and is ETSI NFV architecture compliant. xFlow Research is a founding member of OSM and actively participates in community discussions and code commits.
Our main focus is to provide an open-source MANO solution to the OSM community. OSM architecture comprises of various modules where each module performs distinct features. xFlow has contributed to the community by designing and implementing a feature on Cloud-Init.
Cloud-Init automates the function of specifying authentication parameters for VDUs in virtual network functions. The feature allows the end user to pass information on validation of users like user/password and ssh-key pairs. The process involved working with the OSM community and providing a solution to integrate the feature in Open Source MANO.
